The other day I made cupcakes for a friends birthday with pink icing and rainbow sprinkles and stars. She absolutely loved them, especially because no one was celebrating her birthday (our town had a massive Christmas carnival.) I love making my friends happy like that!
Anyway, a couple days later I got home from school and looked around for something to quickly eat for afternoon tea because we had to go out literally five minutes later. When I saw a packet of hotdog buns sitting on the kitchen bench next to the strawberry icing and rainbow sprinkles, I’m pretty sure there was a little cartoon light bulb flashing above my head! I had a brilliant idea, why not make finger buns?
I absolutely love finger buns, but I don’t often get them because they are slightly expensive so when I had this idea I was super excited. I quickly assembled these delicious treats for myself and my brothers and went outside to take the pictures in less than five minutes.
How To Make Homemade Finger Buns
1. Collect ingredients. (Hotdog buns, sprinkles and strawberry icing)
2. Spread the icing on top of the buns.
3. Add Sprinkles, and enjoy!
I was surprised at how yummy they were! I thought they would taste pretty average but they were actually surprisingly fabulous tasting!!
